Planet Safe Vibe

Live lighter. Leave Dhaka greener than you found it.

Planet Safe Vibe is a refill shop, eco-goods store and green-living studio under one roof. We help Dhaka households swap single-use plastic for bamboo, jute, glass and clay — made honestly, priced fairly, and packed in nothing you’ll need to throw away.

One refill jar replaces about 26 plastic sachets a year.

Chapter 01 — Why we exist

Bangladesh uses billions of plastic sachets a year. We think every home can quietly opt out.

Dhaka’s drains, canals and the Buriganga carry the weight of our single-use habits — shampoo sachets, polythene bags, bottled water and takeaway boxes that were used for minutes and last for centuries.

Planet Safe Vibe started as a simple question at a Bashundhara kitchen table: what if choosing the better option were as easy as choosing the plastic one? Today our shop, refill bar and green services exist to make that answer a yes — without guilt, jargon or luxury price tags.

Chapter 02 — The Swap Shelf

Everyday things, re-imagined without the plastic.

Every product on our shelves is tested at home by our team for at least a month before it earns a place — if it doesn’t last, it doesn’t stay.

Chapter 03 — The Refill Bar

Bring a jar. Leave with exactly what you need.

Our refill bar on the 4th floor of Plot 189 stocks over 70 pantry and home-care staples in bulk. Everything is weighed, labelled and priced per 100 g, so a student can buy a week of lentils and a family can stock a month of dish soap — with zero packaging either way.

Chapter 04 — Green Services

Beyond the shop: we help you change the whole routine.

Green Home Audit

A two-hour walk-through of your flat’s waste, water and power use, with a written swap plan and costs in taka.

Zero-Waste Workshops

Hands-on sessions on composting, natural cleaners and plastic-free kitchens for families, schools and teams.

Corporate Eco Gifting

Jute, bamboo and clay gift boxes for Eid, Pohela Boishakh and client events — branded, not wasteful.

Chapter 06 — Learn with us

August 2026 workshops at the studio

Small groups of twelve, tea from a local garden, and every material included. Sessions run in Bangla with English support.

Rooted in Bangladesh

Jute, bamboo and clay were sustainable here long before it was a trend.

We work with jute weavers in Tangail, bamboo craftspeople in Sylhet and potters in Savar — reviving materials our grandparents trusted, and paying fairly for them.

Questions we hear every day

Good to know before your first visit

Some are, at first. A ৳120 bamboo toothbrush costs more than a ৳40 plastic one, but a ৳450 shampoo bar outlasts three bottles. Our refill staples are usually 5–15% cheaper than packaged equivalents because you don’t pay for branding or packaging.
Yes. We deliver across Dhaka city on bicycles and electric vans in reused boxes and paper tape. Delivery inside Bashundhara is free above ৳1,500; other areas are charged ৳80–৳150 depending on distance.
Any clean, dry container with a lid — glass, steel or a sturdy plastic tub you already own. Reusing plastic you already have is better than buying new glass.
Every item carries a shelf card listing the material, where it was made, how to dispose of it and our own test notes. If we can’t trace it, we don’t sell it.
Yes — return our glass jars, deposit bottles and gift-box inserts at the counter. Clean jars earn a ৳10 credit each on your next refill.
